Presenters: Jess Stuart and Joe Consedine Modern leadership has changed, it isn't just about titles or authority; it's about fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. In recent years, an increased understanding of the powerful impact of male allies at work and at home has led many organisations to recognise men as allies as a critical component of their diversity and inclusion efforts. Men who are allies for colleagues are crucial partners in achieving equality. Without that partnership, it’s much harder to address the barriers and inequalities that women and other underrepresented groups face. This is a journey we’re all on together. This programme, presented by Joe Consedine and Jess Stuart, is designed to inspire and support men to understand the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion, and spark the motivation to actively champion it. By the end of the session, participants can expect to: * Gain a deeper understanding of their own identity and its impact on their workplace interactions. * Develop grounded confidence in their ability to contribute to a more inclusive workplace. * Recognise and address biases in the workplace, fostering a more equitable environment. * Cultivate empathy and become stewards of others’ stories, fostering greater understanding. * Act as allies, supporting colleagues from diverse backgrounds and championing their success. * Contribute to the growth of collective power within the organisation. * Explore sponsorship opportunities and actively promote equity in career development. * Build a strong network of male allies, fostering a culture of inclusion within the workplace.
