Accomodation

The organisers have secured special rates at the accommodation providers listed below, all conveniently located near the Congress venue. We strongly recommend booking early, as rooms are limited and expected to sell out.

All rates are quoted in NZD, inclusive of GST, and are per room per night (for up to two guests) unless otherwise specified. If you search for multiple nights, the total price displayed will reflect the full stay.

Summary

Terms and Conditions

  1. Registrations may not be shared.
  2. Early bird registrations that remain unpaid following the close of early bird will be automatically increased to the standard registration rate.
  3. NZDA and Conference Innovators reserve the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that is deemed to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.
  4. Registrations received by Conference Innovators will not be considered as confirmed unless payment has been received and processed prior to the Congress. Non-payment by the due date will be taken as a cancellation.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your registration, you may reassign your registration to another person. All cancellations and substitutions must be notified in writing to Conference Innovators (Erin Barter, erin@conference.nz). If you are unable to arrange a replacement, please note the policy below:

  • Cancellations received on or before Tuesday 30 June will incur a $150 cancellation fee, deducted from registration and pre-congress course fees.
  • Cancellations received from Wednesday 1 July onwards will receive no refund of registration or pre-congress course fees, except at the discretion of NZDA.
  • Additional social tickets cancelled from Monday 3 August will not be refunded.
  • Refunds will be notified and processed within one month following the Congress.

Accommodation cancellations within 45 days of the Congress are subject to a cancellation fee based on individual hotel policies.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither NZDA nor Conference Innovators cover individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the Congress or for theft or damage to belongings.

Liability

NZDA and Conference Innovators will not accept any responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates in the course of the Congress. Nor will NZDA and Conference Innovators take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Congress or associated activities.

Photography

NZDA employs an official Congress photographer and videographer. NZDA may wish to use images or video footage taken by the photographer or videographer on the website or to promote future conferences and events. If you don’t give permission for NZDA to use images or video footage for this purpose please contact Emma Prattley emma@conference.nz
