Cancellation clause: By submitting a registration online you agree to pay for the conference in full. Cancellations must be submitted to the organisers prior to 31 August. After this date, no refunds will be given for cancellation or non-attendance but substitute delegates are welcome.

Sunday 29 September:
Mix & Mingle welcome
4:00pm Rangi Ruru
Inclusive in registration.Follows the Conference mihi / whakatau in Mana Wahine. Light refreshments and beverages will be served and delegates will be able to network & enjoy a keynote opening address in Gibson Centre.

Tuesday 1 October:
Feast and Fusion with authors and artists
5:30pm - 7.30pm The Arts Centre
Gather at the historic Great Hall for drinks, nibbles and entertainment. Connect with authors and artists who work together to create books for young readers. Explore the magical atmosphere of our venue, including Ernest Rutherford’s Lecture. Theatre Treasure Quest with great prizes.Signed books available for cash sale.Ticket numbers strictly limited . 
NB. For those with accessibility needs: The Great Hall will be your venue, as other spaces are only reached by heritage stairways.
There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance of The Arts Centre for dinner with newfound friends.
Metro No 17 ( Pink Line) bus goes directly from Rossall Street ( close to Rangi Ruru School)  to The Arts Centre

ACCOMMODATION

Bookings at the following properties can be made via the online registration process. 

Rangi Ruru Boarding House

Rate: $55 per person per night including continental breakfast
Limited to shared twin rooms with communal bathroom.
You will be required to pay for this during the registration process - either via credit card or invoice.

Ashford Motor Lodge

Rate: $172.50
Location: Papanui Rd - 1.1km from conference venue 
Your credit card details are required to guarantee the booking only.

Pavillions Hotel

Rate: $165

Your credit card details are required to guarantee the booking only.

Credit card details are encrypted in our database and stored in an electronic vault. Nothing will be deducted from your card prior to the conference.In case of your non arrival or late cancellation the accommodation booking will be given access to your card details to charge the appropriate cancellation fee. In the event of your non arrival at the hotel your card may be charged for each night of your booking. All prices are per room, per night, based on single or double occupancy and include goods and services tax (GST) at 15%
